Louisiana Scholastic Press Association is an organization dedicated to Louisiana's high school journalism teachers, advisers and students.

What was the Summer Institute?
During the week of June 5-11, students from all over the south came together at Louisiana State University for the LSPA Summer Institute sponsed by Manship School of Mass Communication. This week students learned writing, design, broadcast, and multimedia skills.
